Syndicate

Welcome to Ed Bain’s blog about the new Horse Racing Syndicate

I’ve created this blog to discuss this exciting new venture, to layout the details of the Horse Racing Syndicate and to answer questions pertaining to this for anyone who may consider investing.

I’ve received several questions already and I’m opening the blog with these first;

How are doing? Our last email several months back you mentioned you were battling cancer.

A very good question and I understand and appreciate your asking. I’m certain this is on everyone’s mind, including mine and Susan’s and something we’ve discussed in depth. I’m doing OK, still able to get around and function. Haven’t hit the big decline and I’m confident of being here long enough to see this through and of being here when we start making bets.
Because the cancer is at the base of my tongue and in my throat I am only able to speak in a whisper which is why I have set up this blog. To communicate in this way so anyone considering investing can see where we’re headed.

I was curious what happens with the syndicate if you are unable to make bets on their behalf in the future.

When that time comes my wife Susan would make the bets for the syndicate exactly as I do. She knows everything I know and she is the one who has set up all my programs for me through the years to track my statistics.

I was watching an interview with the dancer Fred Astaire and his partner Ginger Rogers and the interviewer asked Astaire How good was Ginger Rogers? Astaire replied she could do everything I could do and she could do it backwards and in heels.  That’s the same reply I give to Susan’s abilities.  My whole journey through databases has been with her assistance and I could not do any of this without her. Should something happen to us both, then the bets would be made by my database/programmer.

Are the investors going to be informed on the daily selections?

Yes, daily all Syndicate bets that we’ll be making will be posted in a secured password protected section of this website for every investor to view.

How long will this take to put together before we start to make bets?

This depends on how long it takes the investors to send in their investment. Benter moved to Vegas to set up his syndicate and to raise funds for betting and I have done the same. You can see from the article that opening up shares in this Syndicate is a huge opportunity because this Syndicate will only work with a horse racing database and no individual has a horse racing database other than me. The opportunity to invest in this Syndicate will close after investments are in hand for the 40 open shares.

Once we have half of the investments (20 shares) in hand we will initiate the building of the betting program which can take 3 to 4 months to build. A mathematician in necessary which we will hire in the process of building and once this is complete we will have test runs that can last about a month. Then we will start making live bets.

Will there be any rebate from ADW to the bettor involved ?

We will be making live bets in Vegas and not betting through an ADW. Right at this moment I do not know if any of the Casinos offer rebates however I plan to look into this when we are close to making the actual bets and I will let everyone know.

How much is each share? Can someone invest in more than 1 share? Can I send the invest online? Can I mail a check for the investment?

Each share is $6,000 USD and yes you can invest in more than 1 share. Once 40 open shares are filled, no more shares will be offered.
You can invest online;
To Invest: Click Here for 1/2 down now and balance when betting program is complete .
To invest in a full share Click Here .
To snail mail a check or to pay by credit or debit card Click Here .
After some feedback we just made another change for the time frame of the investments and here are the new links:
To Invest: Click Here for 1/2 down now and balance when betting program is complete .
To Invest: Click Here for 1/3 down now, 1/3 down by end of April 2020 and final 1/3 when betting program is complete.
To invest in a full share Click Here .
To snail mail a check or to pay by credit or debit card Click Here .

I was asked if it would be OK to put 1/2 share down now and invest the other half in 60 days instead of 30.

The betting program will take several months to complete so as long as the remainder of the investments are in by the end of the 60 days we should be fine so I just made this change.

Ed, I want to use multiple cards to submit my investment. Is there a way that I can so this ?

Yes, you can do this one of two ways. You can mail in the cc authorization form and fill out one for each card that you want to use along with the amount to be charged per card
Or you can send me an email at edbain@edbain.com and let me know this is what you would like to do and I can email you an Invoice from Authorizenet (our merchant account) which lets you submit multiple payments though you’d submit them one at a time.

    1. Is a cashier’s check acceptable?

I finished chemotherapy and radiation six years ago. Times were tough for a few months but the throat cancer I had was treated successfully and with the exception of some side effects, I am good to go.
      Go luck with your illness!!!

      1. Hi John,
Yes, a cashier’s check is fine. Make this payable to
equi-stats c/o Ed Bain and mail to
1257 Oak Village Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89183
        Reference: Syndicate Investment.

That’s is good news about your illness! You had the same cancer I have. And I’ll use an old horse racing saying after somebody had a big hit “Wish it was me”.
I deal with this on the same level as you as all the people who have cancer realize, they have to handle it on a daily basis. I have been diagnosed and I have slowed down some what however no pain or sickness has hit. The reason why is the path that I took is working for me, just as the path you took worked for you and I’m really glad about that.

If you know anyone who would like to get in on the bottom floor of this syndicate feel free to mention it to them and you can share the link to this blog.
